Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi is pleased to present Michaela Eichwald’s second exhibition with the gallery, titled Teil 2, featuring a group of new paintings made in Berlin. Suggesting a continuation, her first exhibition from 2018 was titled IST DOCH KEIN ZUSTAND: Ungeklärtheitszustände als Voraussetzung für die Suchende soll dahin gehen. This notional sequel reiterates Eichwald’s utterly untranslatable proposition. The paintings themselves follow this logic, both ascribed by and fleeing the language that pursues them.
